The Windsor School is a private junior and senior high school located in Flushing, Queens, enrolling students in grades 7–12. It is a day school for local and international students. The Windsor Central School District covers 110 square miles, includes the towns of Kirkwood, Windsor, Colesville and Sanford, and has over 11,000 residents. Windsor is nestled in the rolling hills of Broome County in the Southern Tier of New York. Part suburban and part rural, the district is adjacent to the City of Binghamton.
The academic program includes Advanced Placement (AP) classes, many electives in English and Social Sciences, and the opportunity for students to join the school’s top-ranked New York Mathematics League math team. The art department offers students the opportunity to take Advanced Placement (AP) Studio Art: Drawing or 2-D Design, in addition to creative crafts and experimental art electives. Windsor is a friendly, family-oriented community that offers a small-town feel while being close to a wide range of cultural, athletic, and educational opportunities. Binghamton University and Broome Community College are only minutes away. Other highly regarded colleges are a short car ride away. A variety of retail stores are nearby, as are recreational activities during every season.
