Pioneer Academy is an independent college-preparatory school for PK-12 grades located in Wayne, in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. The Pioneer Academy curriculum focuses on studies of science, mathematics, cultural studies, and language. The school was founded in 1999 and moved from Clifton to its Wayne campus at the start of the 2013-14 school year.The school has International Baccalaureate programm which aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment.These programs encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
