Glendale Community College is a public community college in Glendale, California .with more than 25,000 students. They are enrolled in college-credit at the Verdugo Campus, continuing education at the Garfield Campus, community services classes held throughout the community, and the Professional Development Center (PDC) located in Montrose. The college serves an ethnically diverse student body with no single group forming a majority. The campus consists of 100 acres and 15 permanent buildings. It is located on the slopes of the San Rafael Hills overlooking the valleys in the Glendale area. Besides well prepared curriculum and range of various subjects GCC also offers Certificate Programs which are primarily business and technical programs for students desiring education beyond high school. These programs provide opportunities for students to prepare themselves for a wide variety of careers.
