Augustana College is a private Lutheran college in Rock Island, Illinois. The college enrols approximately 2,500 students. Its campus is adjacent to the Mississippi River and covers 115 acres of hilly, wooded land. Augustana’s Core Curriculum is more than just general education requirements students will fulfil before they move on to “real” classes. It’s a sequence of courses that will open the door to the Augustana liberal arts education. Smaller classes mean bigger opportunities to connect: the average class size is 18 students. professors won’t just know students name, they’ll truly know  and push every student to exceed their own expectations.
