Montserrat is a small, independent art college in a creative, nurturing community, located in Beverley, Massachusetts . Montserrat offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees, along with optional Creative Writing, Art History, and Art Education minors. It also offers non-credit classes for adults and teens, and for-credit summer programs for high school students. A S.T.E.A.M. program, an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking, is offered in the summer to students in grades three through eight. The college also has articulation agreements with several community colleges.
