Idyllwild Arts was founded as a respite for creators to come together from around the world. The vision of the founders, in 1946, was that this creative and collective school would promote intercultural understanding and peace while re-envisioning the artist’s responsibility to society.
Idyllwild Arts have always believed that art is the greatest teacher of humanity. We continue to believe that the practice of creativity hones a person’s desire and ability to effect global change.
