Florida Prep (FPA) is a private boarding and day school founded in 1961 by Jonathan Dwight, located in Melbourne, Florida. Students in grades 6 -12 are provided a college-preparatory education that emphasizes leadership, character, accountability, and trust. There are 100 students from 22 countries.Set in 11 acres of lush tropical landscape, the Florida Prep campus boasts a full sized sports field, baseball nets, gymnasium, outdoor concert area, tennis courts, landscaped gardens and many locations to gather, chat or to seek solitude. A large, open, grassy play area within the middle school campus allows unstructured fun and activities, such as playing ball or tag, and provides lots of space for students to enjoy the company of their peers and to develop social and language skills.
