In 1954 Blue Ridge High School opened its doors for the first time. Situated on the site of the present-day Blue Ridge Middle School, the new high school was built to consolidate Jordan and Mountain View High Schools. Located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Blue Ridge High School serves over 1,100 students, most
of who live in a rural community. Exhibiting southern hospitality at its best, community prides itself on its
