Columbia Academy is a unique high school located in downtown Vancouver, Canada. It offers Grade 8-12 programming and is accredited by the BC Ministry of Education. The goal is to help prepare students for acceptance to the top universities in the world. The school has more than 90% of its past graduates accepted by the top 3 universities in Canada, which is also among the top 50 universities in the world. All Columbia Academy students complete the popular Happiness 12 class as a required part of their graduation program with the school. This unique course is a foundational component of the Columbia Academy learning experience, and has been adapted from course materials developed by Harvard University to provide graduation credit in the B.C. Graduation Program. This course is also accepted by many universities as part of students’ Grade 12 course requirements. All CA students complete this course before their graduation.
