Mentor Language Institute was founded in 2002 and is located in two popular areas: Westwood & Hollywood. Its main goal is to help students from all over the world improve their English. MLI offers 7 different courses with the most important one being ESL. In General English courses, students acquire practical skills utilizing real world materials such as Twitter posts, TED talks, and movie clips. Using these materials, students systematically acquire patterns of grammar, writing, reading, vocabulary, listening and speaking. In addition, TOEFL and other exam preparation courses provide strategies to solve problems with implementing newly formulated methods.
